Brief Call: Our process typically begins with a brief virtual/phone conversation to get to know you! The objective? Learn about you, understand your motivations, and make sure we have the right job for you!

Interviews (the average number of interviews is 3 - the number may vary depending on the level of seniority required for the position). During the interviews, you will meet people from our team: your line manager of course, but also other people related to your future role. We will talk in depth about you, your experience, and skills, but also about the position and what will be expected of you. Of course, you will also get to know Amaris: our culture, our roots, our teams, and your career opportunities!

Case study: Depending on the position, we may ask you to take a test. This could be a role play, a technical assessment, a problem-solving scenario, etc.

Job description

Are you a talented .NET Developer ready to take on new challenges? Amaris Consulting is looking for a dedicated professional with at least 2 years of experience to join our team in Brussels. This full-time position offers an Undetermined Duration Contract and is ideal for someone who excels in creating and implementing robust and scalable software solutions.

Your Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain .NET applications.
• Collaborate with technical teams to understand and fulfill functional requirements.
• Conduct unit testing to ensure high-quality code.
• Implement best practices for secure coding.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure the delivery of high-quality products.
• Provide technical support to end-users when necessary.
• Efficiently manage and resolve technical issues or bugs identified in the system.
• Deliver precise technical documentation for projects.

Your Profile:

We are seeking a highly motivated self-starter who has demonstrated successful experience in .NET development.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a .NET Developer or in a similar role.
• A bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field (a masters degree is preferred).
• Excellent knowledge of C# and associated technologies such as ASP.NET and MVC.
• Good understanding of SQL Server databases.
• Ability to work in an Agile environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.
• Passionate about daily challenges and capable of working independently.
• Mobility to work in Brussels.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and French. Knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
