Lead AI Developer (Freelance) - 12 Months - Brussels, Belgium

We are seeking a Lead AI Developer / Integration Architect for our client, a role that combines cutting-edge AI development with strategic integration architecture. This position is pivotal in driving innovation and ensuring seamless integration across multiple external partners in a high-impact government project.

What Youll Be Doing

• Develop and implement generative AI solutions, focusing on LLMs and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
• Translate AI applications into efficient and user-friendly digital assistants.
• Ensure uniform and stable integration of three different external projects.
• Coordinate and align technical and functional aspects across partners.
• Play an active role in structuring collaboration between partners.

What Were Looking For

• Deep experience with generative AI, LLMs, and RAG.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure, including AI Search, Logic Apps, Storage solutions, and modern data lake architectures.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders and assertively drive projects forward.
• Experience with integration projects in complex environments is essential.
• Affinity with the government sector is a plus.
