Our client is seeking a Senior Java Developer for a high-impact, full-time freelance assignment in Brussels. What Youll Be Doing
- Leading the migration of existing applications to the latest versions of Spring Boot and Angular
- Designing and implementing scalable, microservices-based architectures
- Developing and maintaining robust REST APIs to support business-critical functions
- Collaborating within Agile Scrum teams to deliver high-quality, production-ready code
- Ensuring seamless integration and performance across the full technology stack
- Driving technical excellence and best practices throughout the migration process
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of development workflows and system architecture
What Were Looking For
- Proven expertise as a Full-Stack Developer, with a strong focus on Java development
- Deep experience with Spring Boot and Angular, including migrations to the latest versions
- Solid background in designing and implementing microservices architectures
- Hands-on experience with REST API development and integration
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in Agile Scrum environments
- Ownership mindset: you take initiative, solve problems, and deliver impactful results
- Experience in projects related to human and veterinary medicines is a plus
