DESCRIPTION

Our client in Brussels is looking for a Backend developer who will have the following tasks:

• Propose solutions design.
• Development and maintenance of web applications.
• Test solutions.
• Perform technical migrations.
• Production of technical documentation.
• Data analysis and data modelling.
• Elaborate and improve database models, maintain databases.
• Participation in technical working groups, team meetings and progress meetings with the users.
• Evaluate systems for discrepancies or vulnerabilities.
• Guarantee security and confidentiality of the features based on the confidentiality classification assigned through an IT security plan.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

• At least 5 years: Java + Spring framework.
• At least 5 years: JavaSpring boot framework.
• At least 5 years: Javadesign patterns.
• At least 5 years: Relational databases.
• Java Frameworks.
• APIs.
• Web services and data formats.
• Git and/or other version control tools.
• MVC architecture.
• Microservices architecture.
• Analyze issues, identify root causes, and execute solutions.
• Agile methodologies.
• EU-27 security clearance.
• Bachelors level or 3 years of higher education.
• French will be an advantage.

CONDITIONS

• Freelance contract.
• Approximately 2/3 year project.
• Location near Brussels (must live within an hour by train from the workplace.
