We are on the lookout for a Full-stack developer to join our team for working with European Institutions based in Brussels in an Near site position.

For this position you would be working with our client from the European institutions.

DIGIT A3 in partnership with other Commission services and stakeholders, provides high quality corporate solutions/information systems for SG, DG HR, PMO, EPSO, DGO GROW, DG MOVE, etc., enabling the successful implementation of the Commission's Digital Transformation and EU policies.
In close collaboration with other Commission services and its customers, DIGIT A3 builds and operates solutions in the areas of Legislation, Policy and Human Resources

Below are the details of your role and requirements.

Your role

• Development of front-end website architecture.
• Development of back-end website applications.
• Design of user interactions on web pages.
• Implement core business logic.
• Design and develop APIs.
• Creation of servers and databases for functionality.
• Understanding and implementation of security and data protection.
• Cross-platform optimisation.
• Design responsive applications.
• Participating in the design and creation of scalable software.
• Taking lead on projects when needed.
• Maintenance of code integrity and organisation.
• Writing clean, functional code on the front- and backend.
• Compile and analyse data, processes, and codes to troubleshoot problems and identify areas for improvement.
• Testing and fixing bugs or other coding issues.
• Meet both technical and consumer needs.
• Write technical documentation

Who we think you are:

• Proficiency with back-end languages and frameworks such as Java, Spring, Spring boot and Hibernate.
• Proficiency with front-end web technologies such as JavaScript, Typescript, HTML and CSS.
• Good knowledge of frontend frameworks and libraries such as Angular and Bootstrap.
• Good knowledge of database technologies such as Oracle & PL/SQL.
• Good knowledge of application and web servers such as Weblogic, Tomcat and Apache
• Knowledge of Google Web Toolkit (GWT).
• Knowledge of CI/CD and familiarity with tools such as Bamboo
• Knowledge of code versioning tools such as Git or SVN
• Familiarity with AWS and Amazon workspaces
• Familiarity with Linux
