About The Role

We are looking for a software engineer who strives to bring value with quality to our customers to join our On-Premises tribe at SWIFT, the tribe developing on-premises products that connect businesses to financial networks globally.

Based in La Hulpe, Belgium, you will work as a member of a dynamic team that is responsible for end-to-end delivery – from customer engagement to operations.

As a driving force of technological change, our On-Premises tribe operates in an agile way. You will have a unique opportunity to expand your reach in terms of knowledge and network, and to build your expertise through SWIFT’s global platform.

Technical Skills

• Software engineer with 5+ years of experience.
• Expertise in Java 11 and frameworks such as JEE or Spring.
• Experience with analyzing existing software, identifying technical debt, refactoring.
• Experience with agile development practices such as test-driven development and test-driven design.
• Know how to make applications secure, performant and resilient.
• Familiar with SQL and/or NoSQL databases such as Oracle, Cassandra or MongoDB.
• Familiar with the SWIFT network and/or other financial networks.
• Knowledge of Linux.
• Knowledge of continuous delivery process and technologies such as Docker or Jenkins.
