Summary:

To support our mission, the webshop team is looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer. The ideal candidate should have experience with Node.js and Java for the backend, as well as Angular for the frontend. Experience with building and maintaining Java microservices is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop high-quality backend applications following best practices to ensure high availability, scalability, and resilience.
• Develop and maintain well-documented RESTful APIs using Node.js/Nest.js.
• Write unit and integration tests and develop automation tools for daily tasks.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to design and develop functional, performant APIs.
• Work with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize product features.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure high uptime and performance.
• Challenge ideas and opinions to avoid pitfalls and inefficient solutions.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for all code changes and updates.
• Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies, suggesting new approaches to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Lead, support, and coach junior developers in the team.
• Conduct code reviews to maintain code quality and identify opportunities for improvement.

Your profile

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in front-end web development using Angular, with good knowledge of HTML and CSS.
• 4-7 years of professional backend development experience in Node.js / Next.js (Java experience is a plus).
• Experience with building performant RESTful APIs in JavaScript and/or TypeScript (GraphQL experience is a plus).
• 2-3+ years of experience in SQL and NoSQL stores (e.g., MySQL, Oracle, Couchbase, etc.).
• Familiarity with Git, Jenkins, and Agile/DevOps methodologies.
• Experience with using, building, and maintaining a standalone component library is a plus.
• Ability to write effective documentation, unit, integration, and API tests.
• Good understanding of Agile methodology.
• Ability to work autonomously on development tasks and troubleshooting.
• Proactive attitude with excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills in English.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Passion for continuous improvement and staying updated with the latest industry developments.
