Your Role at Yuki

As a valued member of our team, your mission at Yuki will be to elevate our product to the next level. You will be involved in the entire application lifecycle, with a focus on optimizing and refactoring existing code bases. Your efforts will enhance the application's speed and scalability, while also ensuring that the code you build is readable, maintainable, and highly performant, using best software practices.

After a comprehensive onboarding, that is there to give you a comfortable start, you will be able to take on responsibilities such as:

• Developing beautiful new user-facing features (of kan ook om meer precies te zijn voor Team BE: Developing beautiful new user-facing features together with your team of full-stack engineers).

• Contribute in the ongoing migration of existing pages to Vue.js

• Ensuring our Vue component management is performed in a way that allows effective working with Vue in the future.

• Contribute in knowledge sharing sessions to ensure department wide implementation of Vue best practices.

• Identifying potential improvements in our technical solutions and practices.

• Participating and further shaping our frontend faculty meetings.

• Mentoring and coaching other developers.

 

Job Requirements

• Strong experience as a frontend developer, including experience with HTML, CSS (Sass), and Javascript (ES6+)

• Strong experience as a Frontend developer using vue.js 2 and 3.

• Good understanding of build tools and package management.

• Experience in Typescript.

• A good understanding of web, SPA, and component architecture. A familiarity with component library management tools like Storybook is a plus.

• Knowledge and experience with web security and cross-browser compatibility.

• Experience working with testing frameworks such as Jest

• Experience working with RESTful API
